Super nice guy! Got me in ASAP after having to have it unexpectedly towed. Got it back within 3 days!

Years later I still remember my experience here just because of how strange it was. I dropped off my car for a pre purchase inspection and when I came back the dashboard was lit up like a christmas tree. I asked the receptionist about it because I dropped it off with zero warning lights on and now there were like 5. She didnt like that question and began yelling at me and saying how dare I accuse them. I wasnt accusing, I was just asking what happened since maybe a sensor got unplugged or something like that, mistakes/accidents happen but her anger towards that question/me and need to say they didnt do anything without actually investigating was very suspicious. I took it to another shop and turned out an airflow sensor was slightly unplugged so nothing was actually broken but their inability to actually investigate what they did/refusal to even acknowledge they may have made a mistake made me never come back here. It was like dealing with a toddler when you hear glass break in the room only the toddler is in and then the kid tries to pretend they dont know what that sound was or why there is now broken glass on the ground, just insane to see "adults" behave that way

If you have had a good experience here then good for you, I just wouldnt recommend anyone deal with mechanics that have shown themselves to be dishonest Edit: for the owner, I did leave this review several years ago but for some reason it doesnt exist anymore? Funny enough the ownership at the time defended the employee and her childish outbursts so it would seem you havent changed. This occurred in the fall of 2020 so thank you for admitting it's the current ownership that Im complaining about. It was a 2004 Lexus GX470, maybe that will help. I would hope that my experience with you was out of the norm because you'd hopefully be out of business if it wasnt. Also since you seemed to miss what I was saying, there is no way to defend how your employees acted, knowing who I am is irrelevant to that fact unless you are admitting you treat customers differently depending on who they are and Im a nobody so I was treated like shit??

You have stated that you remember this happening "years later". If this did indeed happen, then you should have left this review back then. At a business, employees come and go, so this person that supposedly "yelled" at you might not even work here anymore. So this is an unfair assessment of how our employees currently treat customers. I have been working here 6 years and have never seen anything like this happen. Perhaps you are referring to the business before the current owner took over. You leave us with no way to defend ourselves because we do not even know who you are.

Always shop local when you can. Mr. Ray and staff were great. He's really dedicated to his customers and everyone on staff is polite and professional. I think I may have called after hours. He answered anyway and told me bring in my car first thing the next morning. I need a lot of work done, which is going to be very pricey, but he worked with me to get the most important repairs done to get the price to be manageable. I appreciated that. Also, the work was completed super fast, and it's running SO much better. Keep in mind, it's always better to pay in cash, and just like everywhere, the shop is short staffed, but he's working with what he has and is making it work. I'll be back to have those repairs finished.

My daughter has lived in NO for about six years with her Toyota Camry. We started her car service with NOLA Automotive Repair and have never looked back. I have personally dealt with the staff at NOLA Auto. Bottom line: They are honest, fully capable, kind, accommodating, and have kept her car alive despite some odd malfunctions. You need the right care for your car and you need it to work. Don't hesitate about taking your car to NOLA Automotive Repair. They will understand the problem, they will fix it, they will be nice about it, and you will appreciate their work, guaranteed. I speak from over six years of experience with them.

I brought in a s550 mercedes for an oil leak. I was told it was the valve covers, cam phaser, cam position sensors and transmission gasket that was leaking. The male manager claimed .Mercedes dealership does not like the to do the repairs because software programming was required. I has researched the repair and so I felt that he was lying about the repairs needed. I decided to bring it to another independent shop for a second opinion and it was only the timing covers that needed to be revealed and the transmission gasket had some seepage. I belive their technicians are woefully underskilled. They left off my undercarriage splash pan and so I had to make a return trip to retrieve it plus thet lost two sections of the splash guard and took absolutely no accountability. I believe they did not want to do the repairs because of a lack of technicians sufficiently trained in foreign car repairs and they did not want to go through the hassle of a claim approval because I had an extended warranty on my vehicle. I mentioned who my warranty was provided through and they female stated I hate them because they make us tear down the engine before they will pay for anything . The male manager is short and very curt. He does not like to answer questions and you can tell he just want the money and for the customers to get out of his face. The male manager is very unprofessional and impatient. I woukd not advise anyone to go to this shop for repairs on foreign or domestic vehicles.STAY AWAY!!

Everytime I bring my car here, this team goes above and beyond in repairing my car. No joy is too big or too small. I am always pleased with their support to help my car see another day. Stacy is a godsend and will always breakdown what’s needed for my car and all the options that are available. Without this shop, my car wouldn’t last as long as it has.
