New Orleans Auto Repair

Just made my first trip to New Orleans today. Literally as soon as I got off I-10 my car started acting up and stalling .I Googled auto repair and this was the first shop that popped up. I nursed it there and they really did a great job. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it fast even though I could tell they were busy. I don't know if I will ever make it back here but I would definitely use this shop if I lived here. Thank you guys again 🙂

This is the second time I used NOLA Automotive. I found their workmanship to be excellent, professionalism top notch and the level of respect I was treated with unparalleled. It's not often a female consumer is treated with the level of honesty and respect they did me. The pricing was far lower than other places quoted and I couldn't be more pleased in how well my car is performing. I definitely recommend them and they are also a Certified triple AAA repair center which means a lot to me.

The team at NOLA Automotive is fantastic! The customer service is great, the prices are fair, and the workmanship is top notch. I'm not putting any other auto shop down in the area, but in the time I've lived in New Orleans I haven't found a shop that was more honest and straightforward than these guys. I've used NOLA automotive for 300K mileage routine maintenance, brake system job, and routine oil changes. Nobody beats them! Go check them out if you need auto maintenance (big or small jobs).

Best car repair shop in NOLA hands down! I've been here a few times and they always have the best service. Went in this morning to have something fixed and I waited less than 10 minutes. Definitely would not trust other places in NOLA with my car. Thank you guys!

Took vehicle in to be serviced for overheating, tow truck had it at NOLA automotive@945 initially got diagnosis call which stated by manager/owner of needing radiator hose, cv hose/part a ring to go around water pump ànd I asked for a full oil change totalling 432.11. Had no problem with that. My check out time was 2 pm so went to shop to wait for them to finish. Guy working on it after I arrived test drove it and said it is ready. Took key and paperwork Inside I of didn't get 3 miles down the road without truck running hot and the oil light coming on. Pulled over called the shop and they sent a tow truck to get the truck. Upon my arrival back to the shop the manager/owner was irrate asking who released the vehicle I replied the guy who worked on it he replied well I didn't release it I replied nothing was done to.my truck he then replied at this point I am ready to give you a refund ànd you can get your truck and go. I then again had to have my truck towed ended up having to leave my vehicle in New Orleans and fly 4 ppl back to Columbia SC. I hope locals are treated better, owner had no concern or anything knowing that we weren't from there and was stranded. All the parts he told me I needed had already been placed on my truck sat. And I told him that.. so it's not like he didn't know that. I'm not stopping here I am sending this to AAA and the BBB and anyone else I can make aware. After posting a review I only got a message from C Joseph saying that he apologizes and he definitely ain't trying to accommodate in any way. BAD BUSINESS and POOR customer service. I now have to go back to New Orleans to get my vehicle. Be aware of where you take your vehicle for service

This shop never fails to amaze me. I always end up spending a great deal less than I expect here. Recently I was experiencing two symptoms that needed attention and since I have a mechanical and electronic maintenance back ground, I was sure that I knew exactly what two problems I had. Turns out, I only had one problem. It was diagnosed and repaired in record time. A less scrupulous shop may have let me believe in problem number two and taken advantage of the situation. The integrity, professionalism and expertise of this shop is why I keep coming back.

My partner ran into a problem with his Air Conditioner and we had contacted this place prior to get a quote on how much they charge for labor in order to put brakes that we have already purchased. They were really fast in contacting us back via Yelp Messenger, and we got a quote of $100 per axel to put on brakes. So if we had done both front and back it would've costed $200 for labor. But we only had to do the back brakes and we had already purchased our own equipment. We derped. We bought the right rotors but didn't realize that the brake parts for the back brakes were different than the ones we purchased. They didn't upcharge us much, and sold us a ceramic brakes a little above market price, but it was definitely easy and they told us before hand to get a confirmation whether we were okay with going forward with the project. The brakes however ended up being squeaky, as if they were always continuously braking. We called them a day later and they were really professional and set our brakes right. We unfortunately ran into a problem with our A/C. We diagnosed the problem ourselves and deduced that it was the AC blower motor, but to be sure we had them do their diagnostic. They charge $100 for a diagnostic test but reduce it to $49 if you go forward with the actual fix. They were upfront about their costs and they were really professional. Honestly, I'm new to the New Orleans area and I'm pretty skeptical of a lot of places. This place was honest and they were really professional and didn't charge an insane amount of money to set our vehicle right. The only thing I could comment on is that none of the staff are wearing masks. But to each their own, I personally did not mind. I highly recommend them!
