Beware of Nola automotive repairs! Get a second opinion always!!!! I recently purchased a used car wanted to get a diagnostic check for a piece of mind. Nola automotive repairs has so many glowing reviews, which made me trust them with my vehicle. However, my experience was far from positive and now I have a complex and trauma when it comes to trusting reviews and mechanics, thank you, Nola automotive repair for that what truly alarmed me was the repair quote that followed. The diagnostic itself was quite expensive compared to the other places I researched but immediately they started listing a significant number of repairs, including something like brake pads and I felt we’re using predatory tactics like fear modeling. They implied that my life could be in danger if I continue driving the car without these immediate fixes. As someone that doesn’t know much about cars, I almost gave in and approved nearly at $3000 worth of work because I was concerned about my safety. But something told me to get a second opinion, especially since the person I bought the car from hadn’t mentioned any of these major issues. And I’m incredibly happy that I did. Another reputable mechanic confirm that most of the repairs Nola automotive repairs quoted me like the brake pads were completely unnecessary! It’s clear to me that Nola automotive repairs operates a bit like a predator attempting to take advantage of customers, especially those who aren’t car savvy. My strong advice to anyone considering them is to always get a second opinion on any recommended repairs. They almost got me, they almost tricked me and wasted my time. There are good honest mechanics out there in New Orleans, but these people are not it.

Fast and easy

We were driving from Pensacola Fl to Belle Chase LA when we all of a sudden blew a transmission line on the interstate. We coasted off the interstate, called AAA and they recommended NOLA Automotive and the tow truck brought our 2001 Astro Van here. We called ahead of time and let them know of our situation and they were the most helpful and friendly place ever. They got us in right away, fixed our transmission line, put new fluid in, and we were back on our way. These guys are the best! I recommend them big time!
