New Orleans Auto Repair

Driving from out of town I realized I made a huge mistake by leaving my oil cap off. My car started making lots of strange and loud noises so I brought it to the shop to see what could be done. I could tell they were incredibly busy but they took the time to look over my car give me a diagnosis and found the problem quickly. Despite the fact that they designated their Saturdays for repairs and normally would have had to wait till Monday to look over my car they gave me a diagnosis and tried to find the part I needed rather quickly to get it done that weekend. Unfortunately they did not have the part I needed but they gave me great advice and didn’t charge me at all for the service. The staff were all incredibly kind and knowledgeable and I’m so grateful to have come to the shop first before fixing my issue so where else later. If you ever need a diagnosis or repairs for your car go here first, these people are amazing! Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I woke up to my truck not starting and it had a flat. I just moved to New Orleans less than 3 months ago and I didn’t know who to use so I went with Nola Automotive Repair because of the good reviews and I’m so happy I did!! Let me just say Stacie is an absolute gem and helped make my situation a lot less stressful. The work was done that day and I got my truck back. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I will never have any work done at the shop again. They took my money and didn’t even look at my engine. I had the completely wrong battery installed. Which doesn’t take a $100 dollars to diagnose. When I went to get a full diagnostic they never told me that I had the wrong battery which meant that they never looked at my engine. They charged me 2300 to get my brakes fixed. When I asked them what they performed on the car the lady was very rude to me. She was very nice in the beginning but became condescending once I paid them and asked them what they actually look at when preforming a full diagnostic. I had to tell her about her language and how it was not very supportive of me understanding what exactly my money was spent on. They took full advantage of me not knowing about cars and didn’t care to make clear what they actually look at when doing a full diagnostic. They seem to rely totally on the machines to diagnose and not even pop the hood to look at anything. Right after I got the work done on my truck, there was a lot of smoke coming from my engine the day after and when I asked them what it could be they said it was natural and it was burning oil however this was a very serious problem. I went to them because they had some good reviews but they basically did nothing I actually needed and tried to rip me off for all they could with useless work.
