It’s a beautiful summer day in New Orleans, you’re driving along, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the air conditioner in your vehicle just stopped working. Did we mention this is New Orleans?
The weather here is HOT. Unless you want the inside of your car to turn into an oven, it’s time to zip on over to NOLA Auto Repairs and have your AC and heating system checked out by professionals that know a thing or two about AC repair.
At NOLA Automotive Repairs we’re a full-service, professional auto repair shop, proudly serving the New Orleans community and keeping your vehicles in tip-top shape.
Car repair and maintenance of vehicle heating and cooling systems, including emergency AC repair, in New Orleans, is a big part of what we do.
We get to be an important, trustworthy part of keeping the public safe and happy while out on the road. And while heating and cooling may sometimes seem like luxuries, there are days when they are a big part of driver health and safety. Getting too hot (or too cold) can literally land you in the hospital. We don’t want that to happen to you.
Automotive heating and cooling systems have a lot of delicate parts that must be properly maintained. If not, they dry out and crack and the system doesn’t work when you need it to. We understand that recommended AC maintenance might not be the highest priority in your busy day, but that’s where we come in. Our job is to give your vehicle the TLC it needs.
We’re one of the most trusted, efficient repair shops in the area. With combined decades of experience, we’ve helped countless NOLA residents keep their vehicles safely on the road and in top condition.
We start by performing a detailed inspection of the heating and cooling system. We need to know the source of the problem before we can fix it, and we don’t like to make assumptions. Then we’ll tell you exactly what we found, what we plan to do about it, and what it’s going to cost. That way, you can make a fully-informed decision. We keep you in the loop the whole time.
We take care of basic maintenance, repairs, and replacement, if necessary, of all key parts in the system, from the radiator to the cooling sensor.
We work on all makes and models of vehicle, and our work, both parts and labor, is guaranteed. Our prices are reasonable, and when we promise your vehicle will be done at a certain time, that is when it will be done.
We’re a full-service auto-repair service, so besides AC repair in New Orleans, LA, we also offer everything from major repairs to detailing work.

We’re the trusted shop for heating and air conditioning issues in New Orleans, but don’t just take our word for it! Read below to see what just a few of our happy customers have to say about us…
“Only shop I trust in NOLA to take care of my cars… They’ve earned my trust this year and I’ve taken my cars here regularly as needed. I feel really satisfied with the work and effort they put into my cars — it’s evident they care about producing good results for me.” —Richard Long
“The guys here never disappoint. I own 3 cars — a BMW, a Mercedes, and an Audi, all are serviced here, and they always take great care of my cars. I trust only them to service it. Also, most other shops I’ve been to in the past make you wait hours and hours, but here, I come with my car, and less than an hour later I’m out the door.” —Jacob Smith
“My car unexpectedly started eccelarating on its own and these people cared enough to offer me a ride back to my AirBnb for the night. But instead they took a $1000 fix quoted at another place and turned it into a 20 min $100 fix and she purrs like a kitten! These are the sweetest most honest mechanics I’ve ever met! Thank you guys!!! Also thank you for the recommendation of Central City BBQ while I waited!”–Lucie Ostlund
We’ve been on the job since 1999, so we know how to change with the times and still provide excellent service. The key is we get to know our customers very well, so we know what you want and need. Of course, for that to work, our customers have to keep coming back so we can get to know them—and they do. When you come in and notice our warm, welcoming atmosphere, you’ll see why.
New Orleans was founded in 1718 by French colonists, but the city, and all French holdings west of the Mississippi were soon transferred to Spanish control—and then back to France, again, briefly, before finally being sold to the United States as part of the Louisiana Purchase. The multiple transfers of ownership is only one of the reasons New Orleans is one of our most culturally-diverse cities.
The other reason is that New Orleans was a melting pot from the beginning. Native American, African American, Caribbean, French, Spanish, Italian, and English influences all came together over the centuries to make a rich stew of music, food, religion (Voodoo is a real religion that largely developed in Haiti), and the beginnings of everything from dental floss to the landing boats used on D-Day. We didn’t invent Mardi Gras—maybe Mardi Gras helped invent us!
The city hasn’t had an easy time of it. There have been hurricanes, there has been fire. There has been war. There have been times we weren’t sure our city would continue. But we’re still here, and we’re not going anywhere—and if, when you come to visit, your car’s AC quits working, you’ll know where to come.
